The licence, subscription and service.
Burnline is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. That agreement is the applicable end-user licence. This page explains Burnline-specific service and subscription terms; it does not replace the EULA or limit rights that consumer law gives you.

Using Burnline
Burnline is an iPhone app for adults aged 18 and over. You must use it lawfully and in accordance with Apple’s Standard EULA. You remain responsible for the information you enter and the decisions you make from it.
Health information, not medical advice
Burnline estimates food energy, activity energy, macronutrients and a daily target range. Every one of those figures can be incomplete or wrong. Food portions vary, labels and databases change, wearable measurements are estimates, and a model can misunderstand a photograph or description.
Burnline is not a medical device or medical service. It does not diagnose, prevent or treat any condition and is not for emergencies. Do not use it as a substitute for a qualified clinician, dietitian or emergency service.
If tracking food, exercise or weight could be unsafe for you, or you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from an eating disorder, or have symptoms that concern you, seek advice from a qualified professional before relying on a calorie target.
Your entries and AI estimates
You control what is added to the diary. AI Estimate and Ask Lorie are optional tools, not authoritative sources. Review an estimate and its assumptions before saving it. You should correct or discard an answer that does not fit what you ate or did.
You must have the right to submit any photograph or text you send. Do not submit illegal material, another person’s confidential data, or content that infringes somebody else’s rights. Do not attempt to abuse the service, bypass its security or usage allowance, or interfere with the app, proxy or third-party services.
Free and Pro
Burnline’s core tracker is free with no time limit. On an eligible device, Free includes up to 50 lifetime AI estimates. Reinstalling the app or erasing its local data does not reset that allowance. Burnline Pro keeps AI Estimate, Ask Lorie and optional About Today observations available after the included allowance is used. The full comparison is on the pricing page.
Burnline Pro is currently configured at $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year in the United States. The annual plan includes a seven-day free trial for eligible Apple Accounts. The App Store shows the final local price, billing period and trial eligibility before you confirm a purchase; those displayed StoreKit terms control if they differ from this page.
Billing, renewal and cancellation
Apple processes purchases. A Pro subscription renews automatically for the selected period until it is cancelled through your Apple Account. Apple charges the payment method associated with that account under the terms it shows at purchase. You can manage or cancel a subscription in the App Store or Apple Account settings; see Apple Billing and Subscriptions.
Cancellation stops a future renewal and does not delete your diary. Access normally continues until the end of the current paid or trial period as Apple determines. Manual logging, history and export remain available without Pro. A qualifying purchase can be restored in the app with the Apple Account that bought it.
Refunds
Apple handles App Store charges and refund requests. Eligibility depends on Apple’s rules and the law in your region. You can make a request at reportaproblem.apple.com or read Apple’s refund guidance. Burnline cannot issue or promise an App Store refund itself.
Availability and outside services
The on-device diary is designed to keep working without an account. Network features rely on services operated by Apple, Cloudflare, Open Food Facts, OpenRouter and eligible model providers. Their availability can change, and maintenance, outages, connectivity or regional limits can interrupt a barcode lookup, purchase check or AI request.
Burnline is provided with the warranties and remedies required by law and Apple’s Standard EULA. Beyond those, no promise is made that every estimate will be accurate or that every network feature will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains what stays on your phone, what an optional feature sends, which service receives it and what technical records are kept. It is part of understanding the service before you choose to use a network feature.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as Burnline changes or legal requirements develop. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes apply prospectively and do not remove rights you already have under applicable law.
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@burnline.live. For technical help, see Support.
